Wasatch Crest Mountain Biking – 10,000+ ft




Get ready for amazing scenery!

If you’re looking for a ride with breath-taking scenery, this is a good one. But, be ready for a hard work out and some tough technical terrain. We drove in the car past Deer Valley and began the ride at Scott’s pass. The initial climb of nearly 1000 feet was brutal, but it got easier after that. Wasatch Mountain Trail We rode the Wasatch Crest trail, then continued to the Ridge Connector. We were treated to views of Brighton and Solitude, then the backside of the Canyons resort with a view of 9990 that I had never seen before. The final segment was just beautiful, winding through the trees on the mid-mountain trail, then finishing on Ambush. The total was 15 miles, with some of the best views in the Wasatch range. There are easier rides, but if you can handle the terrain (and lack of oxygen at 10,000 ft) this track is worth it!
