An Early Christmas Present & More on the Way




Did Santa just deliver an early Christmas present to the Wasatch mountains or was it Mother Nature?  I don’t think any of the skiers cared who was responsible for the storm that just dropped 12-15″ of much needed snow in the Park City area and opened up the Tombstone lift to anxious skiers today.  The even better news is that Santa is planning another gift starting Christmas day with an additional foot-plus of snow expected by Friday.  Oh, how quickly things change!

I don’t know about you, but this gets me fired up about coming out to ski.  I’m looking forward to a late January ski trip.

I’m told that one of the best times to ski is the first two weeks of January after all the holiday bustle dies down and you won’t see a lift line. I haven’t tried that timing yet, but I hear it’s great.
